Rasin Yang
Dual-qualified in Chinese and English law with a background in M&A, corporate and cross-border transactions. Leads our work with Mandarin-speaking clients and businesses.
Rasin holds both a Chinese law degree and an English law degree and is a qualified lawyer in China, giving her a valuable perspective across two major legal systems. She advises individuals and companies on UK immigration and on corporate and commercial matters, with a particular focus on Mandarin-speaking clients.
Before joining Fairhill, Rasin worked at law firms in Beijing on M&A, anti-monopoly, corporate, litigation and employment matters, and as in-house legal counsel at an international oil and gas company, where she gained experience of cross-border transactions, international asset finance and offshore company structures.
That background makes her a natural fit for business owners and investors who need immigration and commercial advice to work together, from a Global Talent or Innovator Founder application to the contracts and structures behind a new UK venture.
